Watch exact UTXOs.
Track individual Bitcoin transaction outputs by txid and output index. No wallet seed, xpub, or signing access needed.
Your keys stay yours. Your Bitcoin shouldn't move without you knowing. UTXO.red is building watch-only UTXO monitoring, spend alerts, and a clear record of what happened.
Monitoring observes spending activity. No wallet keys required.

KEYLESS MONITORING
OPEN EVIDENCE STANDARD
A security layer for your Bitcoin holdings—not another wallet. Watch specific outputs, observe spend attempts, and build a reliable history of activity.
Track individual Bitcoin transaction outputs by txid and output index. No wallet seed, xpub, or signing access needed.
Designed to compare observations from Bitcoin Core and alternative relay policies, including Libre Relay.
Planned email alerts, confirmation tracking, conflicting spend observations, and an event timeline you can audit.
Bitcoin is public. Monitoring it doesn't require control of the coins—and it shouldn't.
Enter a transaction ID and output index. You can watch a UTXO whether or not you own it; watching is not proof of ownership.
Our planned node network inspects mempool transactions and blocks for inputs that spend your watched outputs.
Review the transaction and its confirmation status. Alerts report observations, never assume a spend is theft.
UTXO Watch is designed to observe—not spend. No custody, no seed phrases, and no private-key access. Your watchlist is private account data, not a public directory of your holdings.
One practical security service, one open public-good protocol, and one carefully gated research track.
Always-on observation for security-conscious self-custody users and Bitcoin teams.
Create portable, timestamped evidence of historical Bitcoin control using an open standard.
Exploring user-authorized emergency sweep and competing transaction workflows.
Bitcoin security is too important for vague promises. Here's what the service can—and cannot—do.
No. Watch-only monitoring needs only the UTXO outpoint: the transaction ID and output index. Never submit a seed phrase or private key to a monitoring service.
Yes. Bitcoin transactions are public. Watching an outpoint does not require ownership and is not evidence that you control the Bitcoin.
UTXO Watch is an observation and alerting product, not a theft-prevention guarantee. Spending may be seen only when a block confirms, including when transactions are sent privately to miners. Emergency transaction response is a separate research track.
Not with a static list of UTXOs. As outputs are spent or new ones are received, the watchlist must be updated. Privacy-preserving wallet integrations are a potential future feature.
No. It aims to preserve independently verifiable historical evidence of key control. It cannot establish legal title, prevent quantum attacks, or compel the Bitcoin network to restore coins.
We're building the watch-only infrastructure Bitcoin holders should be able to rely on—without surrendering custody or compromising their keys.
